Neuer Kunststoff ist mehr als Optik
Ein kompletter Satz frischer Kunststoff macht aus einer gebrauchten Maschine optisch eine andere — das ist der günstigste Weg, den Wiederverkaufswert zu heben. Praktisch wichtiger: Gebrochene Seitenteile und fehlende Nummerntafeln lassen Dreck und Wasser dorthin, wo sie nichts verloren haben, und ein defekter Gabelschutz kostet im Zweifel ein Standrohr.
Aus der Werkstatt
Vor der Montage lohnt sich ein Blick auf die Schrauben und Clips: Sie sind billig, sie sind oft schon mürbe, und ein neuer Kotflügel an alten Halteclips hält keine Saison. Bei Farbteilen gilt: Die Originalfarbe eines Herstellers kann sich über die Modelljahre ändern — wenn dir exakte Übereinstimmung wichtig ist, frag vor der Bestellung nach. Und stark verkratzte, aber intakte Teile lassen sich oft noch mit einem Reinigungsdurchgang retten, bevor man sie ersetzt.
